The Kingston Voyageurs limped into the playoff portion of the Royal Bank Cup with the tournaments highest goals against, letting in a whopping 23 goals in just 4 games, while the Vernon Vipers trounced the competition, registering a tournament leading 24 goals in 4 games.
Of course those stats are pretty much meaningless now, as any of the 4 remaining teams can put together two stellar games and win the whole thing.
Vernon has the momentum going into this game as they defeated Kingston 8-5 just last night. Kingston will have the deadly revenge factor however, and that may be enough to unseat the top ranked Vipers and give the Central Champions a berth in the Royal Bank Cup final.
With that being said, my prediction is a 5-3 Vernon win.
